THIRTY-SIX WONDERFUL YEARS

THE WAY WE WERE

THE WAY WE ARE...

The most beautiful girl in the world entered my world in1968. She came to Arizona Bible College in Phoenix not knowing what God had in store for her. I first saw her on the balcony of the dorms and said to myself "That's the girl I'm going to marry." We dated for a short time and decided in January 1969 to become engaged. We were engaged for a year and 5 months (An awfully long time to wait!). Then on July 3, 1970, I claimed her as my own. Now 36 years later she's still the most beautiful girl in my world.

THE LIGHTHOUSE

As I cross on life's tumultuous seas, sailing from earth to Heaven's bright shore.Christ is like a mighty lighthouse,Helping me to navigate my course. He guides me safely through tides of temptation,Over dangerous reefs of sin.Lighting my way through dark troubled waters,'til the glorious port of Heaven I win.-

LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE

“You're here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We're going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don't think I'm going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I'm putting you on a light stand. Now that I've put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you'll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:15-17 (The Message)

I Love Being Your Dad!!!

None of us can guarantee how our children will turn out. But our goal is to provide good values, protection, security, discipline, love, faith, and the many other qualities we ourselves possess and seek to develop in our own lives. In the process, we get to know a few wonderful people--our own children.
William L. Coleman
Memories begin in the heart of a child
and are stored in the mind, forever they're filed.
How sweet are the memories that make my heart glad
as I think of my children and of being their Dad.
My hope and my prayer for my children is this,
that they love their own children and are abundantly blessed.
Thanks for the memories, your love and your care,
Don't forget that your dad will always be there.
Thank you Freddy, Isaac, and Annie for filling my life with joy.
Love,
Dad

What Can a Smile Do ?

A smile can bring light into a dark room.

A smile can bring joy to a family when there is sadness all around them.

A smile can warm a heart that has been left out in the cold.

A smile can create calm on a stormy sea.

A smile can encourage a dispondent spirit.

A smile gives a mommy and a daddy something to look forward to.

A smile is what a grandpa does when he holds his precious granddaughter.

May your hearts be filled with joy as you look at that sweet smile.
